I was interviewed a few weeks back by Rick Lugash of “How to Master the Inner Game of Gay Dating” , a new site on Facebook that’s dedicated to providing helpful content for gay singles to promote more success in dating. I’m a big fan because I think we share similar visions and there’s some great articles and interviews posted that you should check out if you’re single and looking for Mr. Right. The discussion deals with the impact that one’s sexual behavior can have when you’re dating and on a quest to find “The One.” It’s certainly a controversial topic for sure! My thoughts on casual sex when in pursuit for a relationship … that’s a toughie! As I’m approaching my mid-20s, I think my pursuit for a relationship is getting stronger, and my need for casual sex is diminishing. This doesn’t mean I’m still opposed to getting my rocks off, though, with another guy. I mean, I’m 23 for F*ck’s sake! But I’ve noticed that if I like a guy or appreciate his personality more than my typical “f*ck buddy,” I’ll give the idea of casual sex a second thought and try to get to know him first. I think it’s because I can make a distinction between whether I’m after a guy for sex or I’m after him for love … and that’s something very new for me.
